The younger schoolchildren showed up to help with today's seine. It was a pleasant sunny afternoon, with a light breeze and lightly rippled water. Unfortunately, there were no salmon, and few other fish to be seen in the net. We did haul in quite a few shrimp, mostly juveniles.
